WordPress support in Prato: someone who answers, in August too
We take over WordPress sites built by other people: updates, security, backups that have actually been restored, and the everyday changes. Registered office in the city, and we can come by when it helps.

How people get here
People call us
for the same reason.
The site was built well, years ago. Then whoever looked after it changed job, the agency changed priorities, or there simply was no maintenance agreement because at the time it was not needed. Nobody is at fault: it happens, and it happens often.
The result is a site nobody has touched in a while. Updates pile up because running them feels risky, backups exist but have never been tested, and a twenty-minute change waits two weeks while someone is found to make it.
Taking over someone else's site is a normal part of our work. It starts with a check of what is there, and from that we decide what is actually needed.
What it covers
What we look after,
once we take over.
The full service, with plans and response times, is on the ongoing support page.
Updates tested first
Core, themes and plugins updated on a staging copy and pushed live only afterwards. If something breaks, it is rolled back before you notice.
Security and real backups
Known vulnerabilities closed, access tidied up, and backups that have been restored at least once: until you have tried, it is not a backup, it is a folder.
Monitoring, so we know first
Uptime, errors and performance watched continuously. The aim is that we see the problem, not one of your customers calling the office.
The everyday changes
A new page, a product to update, a form that has to reach a different address. Hours included every month, without a negotiation each time.
Why us
The person answering
writes software.
The difference shows on the day the problem is not solved by installing a plugin.
We read the code when needed
It is the same team that builds custom business systems. A plugin conflict gets isolated rather than solved by disabling everything and hoping.
We are nearby
For companies in the province that means being able to drop in when something needs working through together, and knowing who your contact is.
We tell you the cause
After each job you know what it was and why it happened. If the problem is structural we write that down, even when the inconvenient answer is that the site should be rebuilt.
Nothing held hostage
Access, hosting and domain stay in your name. If you change supplier one day, it takes an email, not a negotiation.
Where we are

If you would rather talk in person before giving anyone the keys to your site, that is the sensible thing to do.
FAQ
Before you ask.
Yes, it is the most common case. First we look at what is there: versions, plugins, backup status, security. The initial check is free and tells both of us whether it makes sense to work together.
There are different plans depending on how many hours are needed and how critical the site is; they are on the ongoing support page. There is no minimum term: if you no longer need it, it ends.
We can work on a single job: we look, we tell you the cost, we fix it.
It happens often and is usually recoverable: through the hosting panel, the domain registrar or the database. You do need to show the site is yours, and we help with that.
We also look after Laravel applications and custom software built by others. If the project has been idle for years and whoever wrote it no longer answers, the route is a different one: → Software Rescue

How long since anyone looked at your site?
Send us the address: we will check versions, security and performance and tell you what is needed — including when the answer is "not much".
